Welcome to the website of the Dr. Elisha Dick Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), a non-political, volunteer women’s service organization with the threefold mission of supporting historic preservation, promoting education, and encouraging patriotism.

Our chapter is growing and we are always excited to welcome new members! We come from varied backgrounds and balance careers, family, community service, hobbies, and other fulfilling activities. Our hybrid meetings are typically at 1 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month from September to May on Zoom and in-person in the Alexandria area (Old Town and Fairfax County).

Do you have a Revolutionary War Patriot in your family tree? Did they fight for our freedom, serve in a civil capacity, or aid and support the patriotic cause in other ways? Any woman 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution. Visit our Membership page or Contact our Chapter Regent(DrElishaDickChapterNSDAR@gmail.com) to begin the process today!

Our chapter motto is “Looking forward.”  We LOOK FORWARD to welcoming you!
