Welcome to the website of the Dr. Elisha Dick Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), a non-partisan women’s service organization.  We typically meet at 1 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month from September to May in the greater Alexandria area.
Do you have a Revolutionary War Patriot in your family tree?  Did they fight for our freedom, serve in a civil capacity, or aid and support the patriotic cause in other ways?

Any woman 18 years of age or older who can document lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided the cause of American independence is eligible for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution. Patriotic service must have occurred between April 19, 1775 and November 26, 1783.

Whether you’ve completed your research or aren’t sure where to begin, we’re here to help.  We are excited to share our passion for historic preservation, education, and patriotism to honor our ancestors and benefit future generations.

Contact our Chapter Regent (DrElishaDickChapterNSDAR@gmail.com) to begin the process today!  We look forward to welcoming you!
